An e-commerce website for the enthusiasts that want the best accessories and parts for their car or motorbike. The company in which I was working on at that time, wanted to redesign their e-commerce platform into the today’s design standards and I got to have a big role in the process.

My Role: UI/UX Designer
The Product
After a variety of consultations and meetings we got to capture the idea of the design and started with the process. While on the project, I got to collaborate closely with the development team, in order to design assets that are achievable, technologically wise.
The Homepage
A content-oriented homepage, containing categories, featured brand and product sections and a dedicated social media section that promoted the brand’s instagram profile, showing some of the last posts. All of the above sections come to a closure with the complete footer containing contact, payment / shipping methods and company awards.
The Categories Page
A categories page that has all the products laid out, ready to be filtered with the automated and modern filtering system that the dev team had created. Before showing each categories products, the first two things that the user sees are, a top banner and all the subcategories that are contained in the current category.
The Product Page
We had to give extra care to the product page because, if in this step of the journey the user loses interest, they might never come back. We made a clean product page containing all info, and a selection field that the user can tweak, in order to select the product’s compatibility with their car or moto.
Order Tracking
A unique order tracking system was implemented internally on the website, instead of sending the user to an external link and possibly losing interest in returning to TPL Parts. This way, after each order, the client receives an order ID that can later be used in the system and track the process of the order.
